Sacramentans have proudly served in armed forces around the world, demonstrating courage and resilience throughout history. 

This tour highlights the remarkable stories of veterans from a range of conflicts, including a World War II pilot, a Civil War sailor, a World War I nurse, members of the pioneer militia, and even a veteran of the War of 1812. 

Their extraordinary experiences offer a window into the sacrifices and contributions of those who have defended our nation.

Notes:

• These are walking tours. Please wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Tours are not typically canceled due to weather.
• Parking is available on the street or at the Riverside Target. We recommend avoiding parking in the Selland's lot across the street from the cemetery to reduce the risk of being towed.
• The Old City Cemetery Committee, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising funds for the restoration and repair of historic monuments and headstones at Sacramento's "Old City Cemetery."
